Both leaders praised the excellent bilateral relations between Luxembourg and Slovakia. Minister Bettel particularly highlighted the importance of the Slovak community in Luxembourg, counting more than 1,000 people.

The discussions also focused on key current European and international issues, including the situation in the Middle East and its implications for energy security. Both leaders reaffirmed their full commitment to the rule of law and multilateralism.

Minister Bettel further reiterated the imperative for the European Union to maintain consistent and unified support for Ukraine in response to the Russian aggression.
